CORNOAVIRUS (COVID 19)
We are closely monitoring the current situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic and continue to support and follow the Government guidelines.
Essential business’s and key workers have been identified by the Government which are vital to public health and safety during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown.
A number of these essential businesses are already partners with GEMCO which are fleet companies, including parcel and postage deliveries, government workshops including police, ambulance, fire services & ministry of defence, supermarket workshops supporting online deliveries, utilities workshop and bus and truck companies transporting people and vital goods across the UK.
As these essential businesses are needed to support public health and safety then GEMCO will also be supporting them in the fight against this epidemic.
At GEMCO we have reduced our workforce due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and in doing so have planned the resources required for ‘essential requirements’ during this national shutdown period as issued by the government from Tuesday 24th March 2020.
Emergency break down repairs and legal inspections will continue for our essential business partners.
The health of our customers and colleagues is the absolute priority for us as well therefore we ensure SOCIAL DISTANCES and MINIMUM HYGIENE STANDARDS are being adhered to minimise the further spread of infection.
SOCIAL DISTANCE POLICY can be found at https://www.gemco.co.uk/covid-19-update-coronavirus/
