GEA members come from all sectors of the market – manufacturers, importers, distributors, installers, service providers, publishers, finance and training companies, to name but a few. All are very different but have one thing in common – they share a common interest in the long term future and standards of the garage equipment industry.

Publishers, Finance Companies, Insurance Providers or any company that does not manufacture or distribute garage equipment in the UK, but would like to keep in touch with our market place and industry can also join the GEA by completing the Associate Membership Application Form.

Membership Rates

The rates effective from 1 January 2019 are as follows and apply to the total turnover
in garage equipment as declared in the Certificate of Turnover for 2017.

Level A

Turnover less than £0.5 million – £709 pa plus VAT at 20% = £850.80

Level C

Turnover between £1 & 2 million – £1,020 pa plus VAT at 20% = £1,224.00

Level E

Turnover between £4 & 6 million – £1,973 pa plus VAT at 20% = £2,367.60

Level G

Turnover between £8 & 10 million – £2,769 pa plus VAT at 20% = £3,322.80

Level I

Turnover between £12 & 14 million – £3,496 pa plus VAT at 20% = £4,195.20

Level K – Associate Members

(Publishers, Finance and Insurance Companies who are associated with the Garage Equipment Industry)

This is not turnover related – Flat Rate – £561 plus VAT at 20% = £673.20

Level B

Turnover between £0.5 & 1 million – £872 pa plus VAT at 20% = £1,046.40

Level D

Turnover between £2 & 4 million – £1,519 pa plus VAT at 20% = £1,822.80

Level F

Turnover between £6 & 8 million – £2,432 pa plus VAT at 20% = £2,918.40

Level H

Turnover between £10 & 12 million – £3,118 plus VAT at 20% = £3,741.60

Level J

Turnover over £14 million – £3,954 pa plus VAT at 20% = £4,744.80

Level EK – European Associate Members

(European Manufacturers with no UK Office)

This is not turnover related – Flat Rate – £720 (no VAT) = £720.00
