About the role:

We’re currently looking for an Area Service Manager to support our North East & Scotland area engineers. You’ll be based at our Head Office in Leigh, Greater Manchester.

You must be a hard-working and conscientious individual, with experience of working in a busy service environment.

You must be capable of working in a demanding office environment on your own with minimal supervision, and as part of a close knit team. You should possess excellent organisational and prioritising skills, coupled with attention to detail. You will be an accomplished communicator at all levels and will want to go the extra mile on a daily basis for your colleagues and clients.

Qualifications & Training:

Good working knowledge of Microsoft programs, specifically Outlook and Excel


Able to identify and maximise sales opportunities for new equipment or services, and advising the relevant departments accordingly
Managing numerous tasks for field-based engineers whilst maintaining their diaries regularly
Scheduling planned maintenance jobs and ad-hoc urgent breakdowns and quoted repairs
Understanding the importance of accurate quoting and invoicing
Dealing effectively and efficiently with large volumes of engineer job sheets whilst prioritising urgent repairs and submitting for invoicing in a timely manner

Salary & Hours:

Competitive based on experience
40 hrs per week 8.30am – 5.30pm

Full driving licence beneficial
