We’re currently looking for an experienced Pipe Fitter & Installation Engineer, based in Mid-North England and supporting nationally as the business demands.

Working as part of our garage equipment installation team up and down the country, the role includes visiting our customers’ premises nationwide and undertaking the installation of vehicle workshop equipment, with particular focus in the installation, testing, commissioning and servicing of:

Compressed air lines
Exhaust extraction
Oil tanks
Oil fill & delivery lines up to 2”
Dura Workshop Furniture
Compressors
Set up of lubrication equipment (oil pumps, PRVs, reels, stands, dispensers, waste oil etc)

Experience of the following is beneficial but not essential:

2 & 4-post vehicle lifts
In-ground lifts
Brake testers

You will have experience in this particular field and you will have an engineering qualification with experience in pipework installation for compressed air and lubrication systems. You will have excellent communication skills and be self-motivated, working well individually or as part of a team.

Salary is negotiable based on experience. The position will involve nights away from home to meet the demands of our customers.

Qualifications and training:

An engineering qualification is essential.

Experience in the installation of vehicle workshop equipment is essential, with particular experience in compressed air and lubrication systems.
Skills

Proven experience in installation, testing, commissioning and servicing of compressed air and lubrication systems. Experience in installation of vehicle workshop equipment and vehicle lifting equipment beneficial.

GEA accreditation.
Personal traits and aptitudes

Thorough, excellent attention to detail. PC literate.
Willingness to travel the country.
Good health to carry out this manual job.
