Boston’s Wireless Decelerometer Delivers Seamless Solution for Connected MOT Equipment

14 Jan Boston’s Wireless Decelerometer Delivers Seamless Solution for Connected MOT Equipment

Completing a decelerometer test is easy with Boston Garage Equipment’s fully wireless DC-7500. The ‘connected approved’ device automatically transfers data to the PC control station via Bluetooth as soon as the decelerometer is within range. Service and parking brake test results are then seamlessly uploaded to the DVSA’s MOT Testing System using Boston’s TestWatcher software.

The short 2-minute video runs through a complete test starting with a tester logging into the MOT Testing system and ending with the upload of test results to the DVSA’s system.

Reap the Benefits of a Fully Connected Boston MOT Test Lane

The decelerometer is part of Boston’s Connected Equipment family of products with all items controlled from one computer station using one software program. This solution offers significant benefits for MOT stations: faster, simpler testing, streamlined service and support, and simplified test lane installations.

All data acquired from Boston’s connected equipment (gas analysers, diesel smoke meters, roller brake testers and headlight aim testers) is also available on the customer’s own free dedicated website.
